The Chinese have an expression:

“The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago.  The second best time is NOW.”  

Stop putting things off.  Your actions may not guarantee happiness,

but there is no happiness without action.

Anxiety

Here are two of my favorite definitions for anxiety:
1. Anxiety is experiencing failure in advance.
2. Anxiety is over-estimating the difficulty of a situation and under-estimating our ability to handle it.

Too often our anxieties keep us from living a full and active life.

Have courage.  Face down your fears.  And remember, worry is not preparation.

Good Advice

Imagine you’re 95 years old and on your deathbed. But before you take your last breath,  you’re given a wonderful gift–the ability to go back in time and talk to yourself as you are this minute. What would this wise 95 year-old say to you? Listen closely, because it’s the best advice you’re ever going to get.
